K.A. Schmersal GmbH & Co. KG is among the best employers in Germany in 2026

In the competition “Best Employers NRW”, Schmersal ranked 6th, and in the industry ranking “Best Employers in Manufacturing and Industry 2026”, the company achieved 4th place.

The awards are based on an anonymous survey of employees as well as an analysis of the company’s human resources and leadership practices. Among other factors, evaluations consider trust in leadership, team spirit, appreciation, working conditions, and development opportunities.

Schmersal uses the results strategically to implement improvements in everyday work. Measures introduced in recent years include height-adjustable desks for all employees with PC workstations, health campaigns, team-building workshops, sustainability initiatives, and training in leadership development and agile working.

Internationally certified multiple times
The Schmersal Group has also been recognized internationally as an attractive employer. Its subsidiaries in Brazil, France, India, Italy, Sweden, Shanghai, Spain, and the USA have most recently received GPTW certifications.
